It’s awesome to know that you have been enjoying the recipes I’ve been sharing with you for the past three years. It’s especially rewarding to hear that so many of you have experimented with foods you would never have considered before reading about how delicious they are, and how simple it is to prepare them. Some of you have even shared that your newfound fresh and funky food passion has resulted in a more healthy and vibrant life!

The most common question we get about the recipes is if we REALLY eat them, or is it just a story. The story is we really prepare them at home, eat them, and enjoy them. Often on the boat!

A consistent question is, “Where do you find your awesome ingredients?”  To answer that, here are some of our favorite sites to find great groceries.

An awesome place to get a fast glance at the local food source scene is at The Riverside Arts Market. It’s on Riverside Ave, under the Acosta Bridge next to the Cummer Museum. They are only open on Saturdays from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Get there early for yoga at 9 a.m.!

RAM features ONLY local farm produce, meats, and cheeses. You can meet the people who grow your food. They are passionate and very enthused to help you learn to eat local. Some of the coolest people I know sell stuff at RAM.  Find details at

While you are in Riverside, you have to visit Grass Roots Natural Market on the corner of
