This Realtor’s Ride is a Real Bubba Truck!

Can a Big Boy in a Bubba Truck Become A Rookie Realtor Superstar? Ask Cole Slate!

You can’t hide your ride!  When you pull up to a listing appointment for your initial meeting with some FSBO, you just KNOW their peeking through the peep hole to check out your ride.  Or with buyers in the backseat previewing properties they too are judging you by how you roll!

How would you feel if emerging Yellowfin Realty young superstar Cole Slate offered you a step stool to climb into his big rig?

Cole Slate Bubba TruckCole explains “When I first decided to venture into the real estate industry, I predicted my truck would be a hindrance to my success. Not only did the 13 miles per gallon have me nervous, but also the idea that owners of big trucks are redneck hillbillies.” Can’t argue with his logic so far.

“The truth has actually evolved into quite the opposite reality. My truck is a conversation starter.  I cannot remember a time when a colleague or customer has gone without making a comment about my vehicle. All have been positive or humorous, which of course leads to a relationship and rapport building.”

That’s some thoughtful commentary for a young guy that goes 6’5” and 265 pounds and is almost as big as his rig!

Friends joke with Cole “your truck is big and loud, and so are you!” Cole’s truck has become his signature marketing piece. Cole shares “I perceive every statement and comment toward my truck as a compliment, evolving into potential business.”

Cole Slate Bubba Truck2For aficionados of bubba trucks  the vital statistics on Cole’s rig are: 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 4X4 HEMI with 37” Nitto Terra Grappler Tires mounted on 20” Chrome Rims with a  6” Fab-Tech Suspension Lift +2 Block.

If you know what that really means, in the words of Jeff Foxworthy “you might be a redneck”! Is it bad grammar to use “aficionado” and “bubba truck” in the same sentence?

How has real estate been working out for this rookie Realtor so far? “I have been licensed in the real estate business for one calendar year and have done $5.6M in business. It’s been getting the job done thus far; and I don’t plan on getting rid of my truck any time soon!”

Sounds like Cole Slate’s bubba truck has been making quite a few trips to the bank!
