You’ve Got Mail…….but how do you know WHEN it arrives?

Helicopter mail delivery

Helicopter mail delivery

Remembering back to my Naval Academy days there was no time of day as much anticipated as the delivery of the daily mail. Someone from back home was thinking about us, it was great.  We were so eager to here from home that we’d check the mailbox every 10 minutes!

When I began deploying on aircraft carriers mail became even more of a special treat. Days and sometimes weeks would go by waiting for mail.  Once I watched as an entire bag of mail sunk to the bottom of the Indian Ocean after being blown off the flight deck.  It was a sad day.  Each of us was convinced that the letter we did not get that entire deployment had been in the lost bag!

In spite of some distain for the postal service that you may feel, everyone loves to receive mail!

Have you ever felt the anxiety of waiting for the mail man to deliver something special?   Excited to see who thought enough to send you a birthday card, or this month, a Valentine’s Day card?   Ever had someone tell you “the checks in the mail”?

For differing reasons and depending on the season we all get eager to see what the postman has brought us each day. That enthusiasm leads may cause you to make multiple trips to the mail box each day, only to discover that the mail has not yet arrived.  It doesn’t have to be that way!

Mail Chime

Mail Chime

The “Mail Chime” was created to provide a device that tells you when you mail is delivered. It is ideal for ending the anxiety felt when making multiple trips to an empty mail box!  It’s also a great gift for people who have a long walk to check their mail, or who have health conditions that make an unnecessary walk a real stain on them.

The mail chime is a wireless solution couldn’t be any easier to install or use, and makes life more convenient. Simply mount the battery powered sensor on your mailbox door using double sided tape (included), and then plug the receiver into an electrical outlet anywhere in your home. When your mail is delivered, you’ll receive audible and visual notification; the sensor transmits a wireless signal to the receiver, which will beep four times and a bright red LED will illuminate.
